New Service LL800 Arklow to Carlow
Local Link are pleased to announce a new service Arklow to Carlow which commenced on December 1st 2020. The new service will operate 364 days a year with the exception of Christmas Day. No pre-booking or registration is required and Free travel pass holders and cash are accepted on this service only.

Update 29th June – Phase 3 rollout. Increase in Capacity & Evening Services
As of June 29th Local Link Carlow Kilkenny Wicklow has been able to increase it’s capacity from 20% to approximately 50%. Face coverings are now mandatory on all public transport and we ask all passengers to purchase one, if you have not already.
Also our evening services will resume as of Friday July 3rd 2020. The following services are:
Route 488 – Clonmel West to Clonmel Town Friday evening service at 19.00
Route 4778 – South Kilkenny to Kilkenny City – Evening service starting at 18.30
Route 4975 – Coolkenna to Arklow – Friday evening service starting at 18.00
Route 5030 – Dunlavin to Baltinglass – Saturday evening service starting at 19.35

Coming back from Wicklow we will be going the same way. Please note that during this time we will not be picking up/dropping off passengers at Byrne & Woods Bar in Roundwood. Instead the bus will be stopping at the Church of St Laurence O’Toole.
Temporary Bus Change LL183 Glendalough to Wicklow until July 3rd 2020 subject to a review.
Due to increase passenger numbers we have increased our bus capacity on the LL183 Glendalough to Wicklow service until July 3rd 2020 subject to a review. Social distancing measures remain on the service.
